Closer Than You Think
Sex trafficking isn’t a distant problem—it’s happening right here in Kansas.
Since 2007, 1,761 individuals in our state have been identified as victims of human trafficking. In 2024 alone, that number reached 230—most of them trapped in sex trafficking, not labor exploitation. The majority were women.
These aren’t just statistics. They are lives—real people in urgent need of support, protection, and a way out.
There is hope.
Freedom begins with awareness. Healing starts with action. And intervention can change everything.
